Immediate past Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation, Nkechi Ejele was at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja today where she was interrogated by EFCC officials over her alleged role in the misapplication of funds to the tune of N500 million meant for the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Program (SURE-P) appropriated to the Ministry in 2013 and 2014.
Ejele who was sacked alongside 16 other permanent secretaries by President Buhari on Nov. 10th, arrived the antigraft agency at about 10am and was there till this evening.
