REVOLUTIONARY SPEECH FROM A REVOLUTIONARY LEADER ...

Governor Amaechi melted our hearts with words yesterday. Read and become inspired... "I am here to test my popularity. They have made too much noise. The President says we exist only on posters and billboards. So, we brought a large billboard for him. If the President is not watching (the rally) they will give him security report. This stadium is 40,000 sitting capacity; I built it, It was built by me. One of them campaigning for governorship was the contractor to do the roads. He abandoned the roads and took N3 billion and left, and now he wants to be governor. A thief will not be our governor! I challenge them to an integrity test. Any of them from Abuja to Rivers State, I challenge them to an integrity test. I have worked with them; I have their records and they (records) are in the Office of the Governor. I challenge any of them to performance. In 50 years, all the state governments put together plus council chairmen; they built six classroom blocks, but in seven years I have built 20 classroom blocks. We have developed 715 megawatts of electricity, but the problem is Federal Government allowing us to distribute electricity. They don't want you to have electricity. Vote them out! We were to give Port Harcourt water; as I am talking to you today, the Minister of Finance has refused to move the file again back to the Executive Council for approval so that you can have water. They don’t care for you; they want you to die of water-borne diseases. Punish them with your votes; punish PDP with your votes. They say He (Jonathan) is our son, then why can’t we have ordinary water? The problem we have is that the EFCC is no longer working. Corruption is at its industrial scale. Thieves are thieves because we now have an industry called corruption. They said the reason why the President is not performing in Rivers State is because, he is quarreling with the governor of Rivers State. Okay, what is the quarrel between the Governor of Akwa Ibom and the Governor of Cross River that the road from Akwa Ibom to Cross River is abandoned. Are they quarreling too? It is more of lack of performance. So, if the President says it is because he is quarreling with me, was he quarreling with me in 2012 when he took our oil wells, was he quarreling with me? He (Jonathan) took our oil wells in Kalabari areas. He took the whole of Soku; he went to Etche; he took 41 oil wells and he wants Etche people to vote for him. I am waiting for the election. He wants Kalabari people to vote for him. This is to show you that he doesn’t care. Even the Riverine people, he says he won’t give them governor that they should go to hell! Today when the President spoke in Benin, he spoke in a stadium that was less than 20,000. When TAN held their rally in Port Harcourt, they held it at the 16,000 capacity stadium and this was a South-South rally. The rally in Benin was South-South; the rally in Port Harcourt was South- South. This one (APC mega rally) is Port Harcourt rally. I urge Rivers people to embrace APC and vote out PDP in 2015 general elections. So therefore, APC is the solution to protect our interests. We must go there to vote out the PDP. It is not about our son or he is our brother. They tell you that you should not vote for these people (Buhari et al) because they are Hausa people or because they are Muslims. But the refinery in Rivers was built and commissioned by Tafawa Balewa; he is a northerner and also a muslim. Shagari started NAFCON, IBB commissioned, IBB started the Eleme Petrochemical, Abacha completed. They are all northerners; they are all muslims. NLNG was started and completed by Abacha, and he is a northerner and a Muslim. Bonny NLNG, NDDC, Niger Delta Ministry and so many others were established by northerners and muslims. What has a Christian done for us? In fact, when Yar’Adua was alive, Niger Delta Ministry was working, now, it is only one item; East-West Road and they say he (President Jonathan) is our brother. He is not my brother; my brother is the man who delivers on his service

Lagos 2015: Ambode releases manifesto, promises free education, N25billion Lagos Employment Trust Fund

Akinwunmi Ambode

The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress [APC} in Lagos State has promised, if elected, to set up a four-year N25 billion trust fund to cater for unemployed people in the state. Akinwunmi Ambode said in his manifesto released Sunday that the Lagos Employment Trust Fund (LETF) would provide access a minimum of N1 billion naira annually for entrepreneurial ventures across the state’s five divisions of Ikorodu, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos and Epe. “We will protect the growth of small and medium scale enterprises by providing tax incentives,” said Mr. Ambode, a former Accountant-General of the state. “We will implement government policies that will encourage the private sector to employ more citizens and foster economic development. “We will boost internally generated revenue by improving the collection mechanism through e- governance. “We will encourage the creation of a Corporate Social Responsibility Trust Fund (CSR-TF) by the Private Sector, to be managed by a Board of Trustees charged with the responsibility of identifying growth opportunities yearly and financing such opportunities to further boost economic development across sectors and communities in the State.” Mr. Ambode, 51, emerged the APC’s governorship flag bearer last December, winning over 50 percent of delegates’ votes to defeat 12 other aspirants. In his manifesto, Mr. Ambode said he would introduce a round-the-clock economy typical of a city state like Lagos. In the area of security, the governorship candidate said he would continue with the state’s city lighting project by expanding the Independent Power Project. “In addition, our government will embark on the acquisition of the latest advanced security communications technology that will attack and monitor the daily activities of the State,” he said. For education, Mr. Ambode said his administration would provide free education up to senior secondary level, as well as provide one meal per day for students. “Along with our bursary and scholarship initiatives for tertiary institutions, we will encourage the private sector to partner with government in this regard as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.” Mr. Ambode said his housing plans would include a collaboration with the private sector and also improving the state’s current policy of home ownership through Lagos HOMS and provide ownership options, such as Rent-to-Own-Program (R.O.P). “We will introduce free medical care for our children from birth to age six. “Healthcare will also be free for pregnant women, including both pre-natal and ante-natal care, while our senior citizens will also enjoy free healthcare from sixty-five years onwards. “We will improve on the quality of Primary Healthcare system and make it more accessible, thereby reducing the overdependence on our general hospitals. We will activate emergency services in all our hospitals.” Mr. Ambode said he would open up the virtually untapped aquatic and seafood resources in the state and provide incentives for agricultural processing companies. “We will increase the avenues to showcase our distinct and diverse Lagos culture and traditions through the establishment of museums and heritage centers. “We will create water theme parks for our children and youths by utilizing our prominent natural resource in the State. “In order to make our State a tourism destination in Africa, we will also develop our waterfront by providing recreational facilities and encourage investors to invest more in tourism infrastructure.

Prove of GMB being Educated

To all thoe still in doubt about GMB's educational achievements. He attended the US Army War College Carlisle in Pennsylvania from 1979 - 1980 and earned his command as a Brigadier General. The respected General Collin Powel attended the same school in 1976 to become Brigadier General. Some of Buhari's classmates include General. Beltson, General Thomas P Carney, General Bill Matz, General David E.K. Cooper etc. All of them are alive and can be reached and they will give glowing tributes of the man, Buhari, they know as their classmate. The curriculum at the U.S. Army War College earns one a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies and that is what Buhari has.
