Are You Aware of what Skye Bank Plc Chairman Chief Tunde Ayeni Bought ?

Are You Aware? • That Skye Bank Plc Chairman, Chief Tunde Ayeni bought Nigeria's moribund M-TEL/NITEL for $252M? Are You Aware? • That Skye Bank Plc Chairman, Chief Tunde Ayeni bought the Ibadan (PHCN) Disco Distribution? Are You Aware? • That Skye Bank Plc Chairman, Chief Tunde Ayeni donated a whopping # 2Billion to President Goodluck's re-election fund on Saturday 20th December? Are You Aware? • That President Goodluck Jonathan just after 2 days of receiving # 2B donation from Skye Bank Plc chairman, has approved increase in tariff of PHCN? MY QUESTION Does it mean Chief Tunde Ayeni's so-called donation to Goodluck re- election was actually an investment with an RoI (Return on Investment) to be borne by the ordinary masses? Another reason to vote for # Change Is this true? Source : www.9jabook.com/m/discussion?id=2109467%3ATopic%3A2009503

50 UNIVERSAL TRUTHS THAT WILL MAKE YOU MORE SUCCESSFUL

No matter what is going on in your career, good advice is universal. No matter what problems you are trying to solve, chances are someone else before you had a similar problem. I've been a journalist for the better part of two decades and during that time I've interviewed and written about thousands of people in various stages of success, from billionaires to entrepreneurs launching start-ups (one while fighting brain cancer). All of that has led me to conclude that there are certain universal "business truths" — tips and tricks that work for nearly everyone in every business. They are: 1. Have a passion for your work. If your work is meaningful to you, your work life will be a joy. 2. If you can't be passionate about the work itself, be passionate about the reason you do it. Maybe you don't love your job or company or career, but the money and benefits are good for your family. Be passionate in your choice to do right by your family. 3. If something needs changing, be the one to lead the change. If you dislike your job but are stuck, work on getting the skills that will get you unstuck. If there's a problem at your office, work on being the one solve it. 4. Start small and build from there. 5. Do the obvious stuff first, then progress to the harder stuff. (Otherwise known as going for the low-hanging fruit.) 6. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Do improve it. 7. The hardest lesson to learn is when to keep going and when to quit. No one can teach you that. At some point, you have to choose. 8. The definition of crazy is to do the same thing the same way and expect a different result. If the result isn't good, change something. 9. No one succeeds alone. 0. Ask for help. Be specific when asking. Be graceful and grateful when help comes. 1. Surround yourself with positive people and you'll have a positive outcome. 2. Embrace diversity. The best way to compensate for your own weaknesses is to pick team-mates who have different strengths. 3. People experience the world differently. Two people can attend the same meeting and walk away with different impressions. Don't fight that. Use it. 4. You don't have to like someone to treat that person with respect and courtesy. 5. Don't "should" all over someone, and don't let someone else "should" all over you. 6. No matter what you do or how much you achieve, there are always people who have more. 7. There will always people who have less, too. 8. No matter how much you excel at things, you are not a more worthwhile human being than anyone else. No one else is more worthwhile than you, either. 9. If you spend most of your time using your talents and doing things you are good at, you're more likely to be happy. 0. If you spend most of your time struggling to improve your weaknesses, you're likely to be frustrated. 1. Practice is the only true way to master a new skill. Be patient with yourself while you learn something new. 2. The only way to stay fresh is to keep learning new things. 3. To learn new things means being a beginner, and that means making mistakes. 4. The more comfortable you grow with making beginner mistakes, the easier it is to learn new things. 5. You will never have all the resources (time, money, people, etc.) that you want for your project or company. No one ever has all the resources they want. 6. A lack of resources isn't an excuse. It's a blessing in disguise. You'll have to get creative. 7. Creativity and innovation are skills that can be learned and practices by doing your usual things in a new way. 8. Take calculated risks. 9. In the early stages of a company, career, or project, you'll have to say "yes" to a lot of things. In the later stages, you'll have to say "no." 0. Negative feedback is necessary. Don't automatically reject it. Examine it for the nuggets of truth, and then disregard the rest. Books on Entrepreneurship Learn and become an entrepreneur. Save money this holiday 1. When delivering criticism, talk about the work, not the person. 2. Think big. Dream big. (The alternative is to think small, dream small.) 3. Treat your dream as an ultimate roadmap. You don't have to achieve your dream right away, but the only way to get there is to take many steps toward it. 4. If you think big, you will hear "no" more than you hear "yes." They don't get to decide. You do. 5. How long it takes you to create something is less important than how valuable and worthwhile it will be once it's created. 6. If there is one secret to success, it's this: communicate your plans with other people and keep communicating those plans. 7. Grow your network. Make an effort to meet new people and to keep in contact with those you know. 8. No matter what technology or service you are creating or inventing at your company, it's not about the product; it's always about the people and the lives you will improve. 9. No matter how successful you get, you can still fail and fail big. 0. Failure isn't a bad thing. It's part of the process. 1. Things always go wrong. The only way to keep that from hurting you is to plan for that. 2. Learn how to respectfully, but firmly, say "no." 3. Say "yes" as much as you can. 4. In order to say "yes" often, attach boundaries or a scope of work around your "yes." 5. No matter how rich, famous, or successful another person is, inside that person is just a human being with hopes, dreams, and fears, the same as you. 6. Getting what you want doesn't mean you'll be happy. Happiness is the art of being satisfied with what you already have. 7. Working with difficult personalities will be a part of every job. Be respectful, do your job well, and nine times out of 10 that person will move on. 8. For that one-out-of-10 time, remember you aren't a victim. Do what you need to get a new job. 9. As soon as you have something to demonstrate, get an executive champion to back or support your project. 0. Focus on what you want, not what you don't want

2015: Pastor Adeboye’s Prediction In The Forthcoming Election

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has allayed fears on twin highly dreaded phenomenon of insurgency and Ebola Virus Disease rocking mankind, saying they will be weakened across the globe in the New Year. Adeboye, who declined to speak on the outcome of country’s forthcoming polls because of the sensitivity of the election year, made the predictions at the crossover service held at the Redemption Camp, Kilometre 46, Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, to usher in year 2015. He said there was no need to lose sleep over the peace and unity of the country, saying, all would be well with the country after the polls. His words, “Unfortunately, because it is election year, I can’t tell you all that God told me about Nigeria. But I will tell you this: “By the end of the year, many will say ‘all is well that ends well.” He emphatically said the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease, which has killed over 7,000 people so far, would finally die in the New Year, urging the mammoth crowd that turned up for the service to pray fervently against it. The frontline clergyman revered for his precise predictions whose predictions added that God said the world should pray against “massive calamities, massive earthquakes and strong hurricanes and typhoons.” The pastor fondly called Daddy G.O. said other prophecies would be relayed to them through their pastors, urging members of the church, who obeyed the instruction to fast for 100 in 2014, to expect great harvest of blessings from God in the New Year. Adeboye said God told him that 2015 will be a year of dreams fulfillment, miraculous completion of projects, miraculous restorations and a year that will replete with testimonies such that “those who have none before will have some this year.” He said scientific and medical breakthroughs would be many , particular in the areas of brain disorder, insomnia.

Buhari reveals his five-point change agenda

All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Gen. Muhammadu Buhari yesterday asked Nigerians not to lose hope because change is imminent in the country. He said 2015 is a year of change for the nation, which the forthcoming elections would bring. Gen. Buhari listed a five-point change agenda which he would implement – if elected president. He pledged to change the nation’s debilitating dependence on crude oil to earn revenue. Gen. Buhari, who explained the change he has envisioned for the nation in a New Year message, pledged to provide mass employment, adequate security, fight corruption, improve infrastructural and good health care. A statement by Director of Communications Buhari Campaign Organisation, Mr. Dele Alake, said: “I have unshakeable faith that 2015 will be the year of change. Now some of you have asked me: what exactly does ‘change’ mean? “I have taken time to explain this at different opportunities, but on this special day, let me remind you in five short statements. Change means: 1. A country that you can be proud of at any time and anywhere: where corruption is tackled, where your leaders are disciplined and lead with vision and clarity; where the stories that emerge to the world from us are full of hope and progress. 2. A Nigeria in which neither yourselves, nor your parents, families or friends will have to fear for your safety, or for theirs. 3. A Nigeria where citizens get the basics that any country should provide: infrastructure that works, healthcare that is affordable, even free; respect for the environment and sustainable development, education that is competitive and outcome-oriented in a knowledge-economy. 4. A country that provides jobs for its young people, reducing unemployment to the lowest of single digits and providing safety nets so that no one is left behind. 5. A Nigeria where entrepreneurship thrives, enterprise flourishes and the government gets out of your way so that you can create value, build the economy and aggressively expand wealth. The APC candidate expressed confidence that the five agenda are implementable. He said: “Are these things truly possible? Of course. That is the essence and outcome of leadership, and that is what my party and I promise you as we get into 2015.My dear friends, this New Year, more than ever before, I am hopeful about Nigeria. “Yes, you are disappointed and you are angry, as you are entitled to, but you must never give in to the temptation to feel so weighed down by those who have failed you that you lose your hope and your energy and your passion to see change. You must never give up on Nigeria. “Together, we can build a nation that is secure, prosperous and gives everyone a fair chance. “This is the promise that 2015 holds. That is the promise that change will bring. That is the promise that I bring to you.” Gen. Buhari said although 2014 was challenging for the nation, Nigerians should not lose hope or despair. He added: “The year 2014 was a challenging one for most citizens of our dear country. “We remember our compatriots who were brutishly killed or maimed by evil terrorists in 2014. I remember with a still broken heart that 219 of our children from Chibok are yet missing, let down by a country that should protect them. I remember that, even as I speak, some of our towns and villages are yet under the occupation of Boko Haram. “Yes, it is enough for you to despair. It is enough for you to wonder if your country cares about you and can protect you. But do not despair. “Two thousand and fifthen has arrived at a time of great discomfort; but the beauty of the New Year is that we can look forward with renewed hope and the knowledge that things can and will change.” Gen. Buhari repeatedly assured that Nigerians will begin to write a new story as from 2015. He said: “In Nigeria’s case, we can truly look forward to the change that the elections can, and will, bring. Our country will be secure again. Our country will prosper again. “I have faith that 2015 is the year we shall begin to write a new story – a story of our youth creating jobs and expanding the frontiers of innovation and creativity everywhere from Mavin Records to the Co-Creation Hub; a story of genuine investment in our children and students be they in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka or in the Delta State University, Abraka; a country that finally makes a permanent shift from our debilitating dependence on the free-falling price of crude oil.
